Terrance McBride, 6'0. PG from California. Looks like a decent signing this late in the game. According to some posts on twitter and his You tube video, he may actually be 6'3"

Sierra Canyon is a private day school in the Valley that has recently become a basketball power (aka is giving free rides to b-ball players). They play high-end b-ball. It's the same league as Getting and Fallas played in. Anyway McBride definitely looks 6'0" to me. The three inches is high school wishful thinking. He's on the same team as Marvin Bagley III - the number 1 ranked junior in the country.

I recently enjoyed watching Terrance McBride’s Sierra Canyon basketball team beat the No. 1 ranked Oak Hill Academy. This snapped Oak Hill’s remarkable 56 game winning streak and resulted in Sierra Canyon becoming the new no.1 ranked team in the nation on MaxPreps. It is hard to get a read on Terrance since he does not get a lot of touches as he is his team’s fifth option. Yet, the four players ahead of him are all studs: Marvin Bagley (#1 in class of 2018), Cody Riley (UCLA commit), Remy Martin (Arizona State commit) and Adam Seiko (San Diego State commit). The good news is that Sierra Canyon plays a super tough schedule with numerous nationally ranked teams, such as Oak Hill, Mater Dei, Bishop O’Dowd, etc., along with participation in highly selective invitational tournaments. His high school team essentially is as good as the very best AAU teams.

I stumbled upon that game and caught a good part of it. Tremendous athletes on both teams, and rather entertaining. McBride certainly didn't look lost out there, although as Ivyhoops said he isn't a primary option. He did hit the only two 3's I saw him take, and ended up with at least 7 points. Like most Ivy-type players, he is not physically imposing, especially compared to the uber-athletes he was playing with and against. But he certainly looks like a player who will be a real contributor at Cornell, and he surely won't be intimidated in games against 'Cuse and other Power 5 teams that pop-up on the schedule.

Earl needs some centers 6'9" or taller!

Caught Mcbride in the Spirngfield MA hoop hall classic today as his team beat LaLumierie (IN) #1. Not the headliner by any means but was a solid contributor scoring 13 including a tough contested 3 at the end of the 1st quarter. Mainly a distributor he hardly ever came off the floor and was solid on the defensive end too guarding one Lala's top players. I watch a fair amount of the Big Red and he should be a great addition next year. Plus, nice to hear Cornell get a mention in a game featuring recruits ( or future recruits) from all the big time programs.

Eh... another undersized, unathletic prep school player who won't do much. It's only interesting because of his connections.

I have no idea how much Boeheim might or might not be able to contribute, but what I've seen and read so far, I think he's a legitimate Ivy League caliber player.
Also, not a bad thing for Earl and staff on the recruiting trail to be able to say that a Hall-of-Fame coach entrusted their son to them.

He might be better than you think. His dad was obviously a good player. He went to a very good prep program - New Hampton - with tons of D-1 and even NBA alumni. He shoots 3's extremely well and has size on the wing. Fits the Princeton offense. He could help.

Good to see another forward. I have to say any Cornell-Syracuse games will be very interesting.

If anyone's out there, next year's roster announced. Lost Bayless? Seems undersized-- did pick up a JUCO transfer.
